Pamela Dimeler
Pamela DimelerOwner & Director of PAMD
Pam has been teaching dance and piano since 1970. She is a graduate of Lebanon Valley College with a B.S. in Music Education, majoring in piano and voice. Pam opened PAMD in 1986. She has studied and incorporates the Vaganova Method of ballet in her teaching and is a member of Dance Educators Association. Pam is also a member of the Brandywine Harp Orchestra, which has performed both locally and abroad. She also plays harp for private events. Pam is on staff at the Rocky Run YMCA where she teaches Senior Strut and Silver Sneakers classes.
Laura Dutton
Laura DuttonFounder & Director of PPAC
Laura graduated from Virginia Intermont College in 1988 with a B.A. in Ballet. At college, Laura was a member of the Bristol Ballet Company. She has been a full time instructor at the Academy since January of 1988. She has traveled abroad with Missionary Outreach Fellowship to Barbados (2003) and to London (2004) where she taught worship dance. She founded The Parkside Performing Arts Company which performs the Nutcracker annually. Under her direction the competition team has performed several times in Disney World and on cruises to the Bahamas, Bermuda, and the western Caribbean. In May 2015, the competition team was was awarded the Title of Best Debut School at Access Broadway, Valley Forge.
Debra Stein

Debbie has over 30 years of experience in dance, musical theater, and drama. She holds a Doctoral Degree in Developmental Psychology from Temple University with a concentration in the study of developmental aspects of learning and memory. She is a Professor of Psychology and Education at Widener University and an educational consultant for The Educational Information and Resource Center in New Jersey. Debbie is the founder and director of Parkside Community Theater. Debbie was recognized as Parkside’s Outstanding Citizen in 2012.

Sarah Serratore

Sarah is a 2011 graduate of Temple University with a BFA in Dance with concentrations in Modern and Jazz and was a member of the Infatuation Dance Company. She began teaching at PAMD in 2007. Sarah is the Assistant Director for PPAC. She appeared in various lead roles for both PPAC and Parkside Academy productions while she was a student and performed with PPAC on Royal Caribbean Cruise Line sailing to Bermuda and in Walt Disney World. Sarah has been the lead teacher in the Get Set classroom at the Malvern School in Glen Mills since 2012 and recently became the Health and Safety Coordinator for the school. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Higher Education at Drexel University.
Tamera Dallam

Tamera has been dancing at Parkside Academy since 2004 and teaching at Parkside since 2009. She is a dedicated tap dancer who specializes in rhythmic tap. Tamera has choreographed several Platinum and High Gold competition dances. In her spare time, Tamera enjoys traveling to tap festivals all over the east coast. Tamera graduated from West Chester University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is also a member of Lady Hoofers, a professional tap dance company.

Nashira Council

Nashira has a BFA in Dance from University of the Arts. She also has additional training in NYU, Zumba, Ballroom Crystal Dansport, Wheel Chair Ballroom, Bollywood Ayre, Acrobatics, Break Dancing, and Latin Dancing. Nashira has been dancing for over 27 years and has performed professionally in many countries dancing for many top charting artist. Nashira has been instructing dance for over 14 years to children and adults. She has taught and trained in numerous local studios as a dance instructor, choreographer and personal trainer.

Heather Dutton

Heather is a Senior at the Center for Performing and Fine Arts division of Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School where she studies dance, acting, and photography. Last year she completed PAMD’s 3 year teacher training course and has assisted with various classes and levels for the past five years. Heather is a member of Parkside Performing Arts Company and Competition team and has won numerous awards throughout the region. This summer, Heather spent two weeks at New York’s Broadway Experience intensive and also attended DCNS dance intensive in New Jersey. After high school, Heather plans on pursuing a career in the performing arts.

Aubrey O'Hara

Aubrey studied ballet at Mercyhurst College before obtaining her degree in Fashion Merchandising from The Fashion Institute of Technology. She worked in NYC in both the fashion industry and as a featured dancer on Broadway, before becoming a personal trainer and fitness instructor. She also holds a certification in Floor Barre. She most recently graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a board certified Holistic Health Coach. She is also the founder of HEALTHtabulous, a company that provides services to empower women in achieving maximum health and happiness through the use of good nutrition, increased fitness, guidance in fashion and personal style, and finally fun!

Crystal Dimeler

Crystal has designed all of the PAMD websites to date and has also mastered the lights during recitals since 2011. She began lessons at Parkside Academy at the age of 2 and graduated from PAMD and Penncrest High School in 2011. Scott has been assisting with his wife’s recitals since 1972. He now produces the audio/visual portion for the annual recitals. He works full time for EMC Corporation as a Customer Engineer.
