Parkside Performing Arts Company was founded in September of 1988 by Laura Thomas Dutton.

PPAC's year is divided into two sections. September–December dancers prepare and present The Nutcracker. January–May dancers participate on the competition team. We attend one competition annually, Access Broadway Valley Forge, usually the first weekend in May.

The competition team has won numerous "Broadway Stars" and titles including Access Broadway's Best Debut Dance School Valley Forge - 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 and Access Broadway's Best Debut Dance School National Title in July of 2019. PPAC has also performed in Disney World and on cruise ships sailing to Bermuda, the Bahamas, and the Western Caribbean.

The Nutcracker

Due to Covid-19 the traditional Nutcracker will not be presented on stage in 2020.  This year's production will be created as a movie!  We are hoping to be able to offer a Premier at a drive in movie during the Holiday season.  DVD will also be available to purchase.

Annual Nutcracker Information Meeting and Sign Up will be held through a Zoom meeting on Wednesday, September 9th at 7 PM.  The zoom link will be emailed to all students who are registered as a PAMD student in Elementary 3, Level 1, 2 or 3 Ballet. There is an additional fee to participate.
